Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area turned a one day highlight of Earth Day into a week of activities, including a field trip to the Radix Center, and a panel discussion around Green Jobs. Here are a few more:
Planting Seeds
We held a seed planting event at Griswold Heights in Troy!
Beautification
Thanks to volunteers from Albany Academies & Excelsior College who helped to plant fresh flowers in front of the Clubhouse. Bobby The Bunny, our official mascot and volunteer advocate, was there to help too!
Nature Walk
We took a field trip from the Albany Clubhouse to the Nature Walk at Touhey Preserve where the kids enjoyed the great outdoors and even found some tadpoles!
