Mandatory criminal background checks are required every year for staff and board members. All potential employees and recurring volunteers are required to be cleared in accordance with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services regulations.

ABOUT BGCCA

BGCCA serves youth in four core areas: Universal Pre-Kindergarten (ages 3-4), After School (ages 5-12), Summer Camp (ages 5-12), and Teens (ages 13-19). UPK roles for Albany County Schools include teachers, teacher assistants and youth development professionals.
