Ultimate Journey - Trail Riding Training

Ultimate Journey

Ultimate Journey helps provide access to safe, fun outdoor spaces for our Capital Area youth.

Designed for ages 9-13 (4th-8th grade), Club members will have the opportunity to be outside and play games, plant a garden, search for signs of wildlife, take a walk in the park, and more.

Club members will learn elements of STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.

They will also: be creative, conduct research, write, practice presenting, explore careers, work together in groups, and have fun learning about their community and environment.

Snowboard Lessons

Each year, BGCCA kids have the opportunity to learn how to snowboard. This free and all-inclusive experience was made possible through the generosity of the SHRED Foundation and the gracious hospitality of Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont.

Bicycle Lessons & Trail Riding

BGCCA kids have had opportunities to learn how to ride a bike and to feel the thrill of riding easy trails in local Albany parks. Special thanks to The FreeWheel for supplying the bicycles and to the volunteer instructors who helped guide the kids!
