BGCCA was proud to be the featured organization for the evening of "Art In The Park" at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium with the Tri-City Valley Cats vs Sussex County Miners on Saturday, August 19th.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area was proud to show up as the featured charity for "Art In The Park" night Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. The Tri-City Valley Cats faced off against Sussex County Miners on a beautifully overcast summer day. BGCCA held a bbq for staff and families prior to the game with dinner as well as kid's games facilitated by The Arts Center of the Capital Region. The Lyricism 101 RV sat proudly out in front of the stadium.
BGCCA announced the 2023 Staff of the Year winners: Chaniece Brown, Troy Clubhouse Site Coordinator Miriam Montes, Director of Empire Programs A BGCCA teen, Rashad Miller, was selected to sing the National Anthem while an afterschool youth, Zyaire E. (pictured above), threw out the first pitch. Valley Cat mascot Southpaw stopped to give high fives to everyone. The Valley Cats fought bravely but lost 8-3.
