2025 Golf Tournament

The 2025 BGCCA Chip-In Fore Youth Golf Tournament, presented by IBEW Local 236, took place on Friday, June 13 at the Town of Colonie Golf Course. It was a phenomenal success!

A Huge Thank You

We extend a big thank you to all our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and vendors who participated in our 7th annual event! All proceeds raised go directly toward youth programming in Albany and Rensselaer counties.

The weather was perfect with plenty of cloud cover and cool breezes. The Lyricism 101 RV arrived on-site to provide musical motivation. Registration proceeded smoothly as everyone enjoyed some morning coffee and camaraderie.

Exciting Contests and Experiences

The first stop was the Group Putting Contest. All golfers formed a circle around the hole and struck their balls simultaneously. Number 273 was the closest to the pin!

Then, it was time to hop into the golf carts and hit the course! Each hole included unique and interactive challenges designed around youth games commonly found at our Boys & Girls Clubs. These popular games featured frisbee, croquet, t-ball, ladder toss, and cornhole. The golf cannons added a dash of excitement to the day!

Traditional golf contests were also part of the fun, including those for drives, putting, and hole-in-one challenges. Lunch was provided by Martel's Grill & Bar. During the reception, raffle winners and contest awards were announced by Patrick Doyle, CEO, and Tracy Moore, Events Director.
