BGCCA Appoints New CEO Patrick Doyle

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area (BGCCA) has appointed Patrick Doyle, a longtime employee and member of the executive team, as the organization's new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Doyle had been serving as the Interim CEO following the departure of Justin Reuter earlier in 2025.

Mr. Doyle began attending The Club as at age 5, became a junior staff person at the age of 14, and joined The Club as a full-time employee when he was 18. Over two decades, he held nearly every leadership role in the organization, including executive director of the Troy Boys & Girls Club, before leading the historic merger with the Boys & Girls Club of Albany in 2018, creating Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area. He currently serves as the Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair of the New York State Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs.


Mr. Doyle has been recognized for his leadership and impact with numerous honors, including the Albany Business Review 40 Under 40, Boys & Girls Clubs Empire Chapter Executive of the Year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Northeast Horizon Award, and the National No Kid Hungry Meals Champion Award.

“With over 25 years of experience, Patrick brings unmatched expertise in fundraising, donor engagement, community partnerships, and youth development programming,” said Chirstine Tramontano, BGCCA Board President. “He remains guided by the same values instilled in him as a young Club member — ensuring that our kids and teens have safe spaces and opportunities to reach their full potential.”


“Boys & Girls Club has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, beginning with my time as a Club kid and now having the privilege of leading its future,” said Doyle. “I’m committed to ensuring that our Clubs remain a place where every young person feels safe, supported, and inspired.”
