What We Do
The BGCCA has provided support since 1892 with current programs for over 1,900 children daily and annually impacting the lives of 8,000 youth.
The BGCCA hosts events in Albany and Troy throughout the year! Get the details about all of our events and find one happening near you.
The BGCCA operations include UPK, Afterschool, Summer Camp, Teens, and more, like Career Launch, Food Program and Freight Farm.
BGCCA's Kitchen serves thousands of meals daily to feed area youth and runs year-round for CACFP, the summer, and the school year.
The BGCCA kitchen more than doubled its output within 48-hours to meet the community needs due to the start of the COVI-19 pandemic.
The Freight Farm is a commercial grade, hydroponic farm with environmental controls and indoor growing technology, built within a shipping container.
Freight Farm can generate up to 600 heads of lettuce each week.
